MUNSTER and Ireland rugby star Conor Murray has issued an urgent appeal for help after his beloved dog went missing this Monday.

The veteran scrum-half posted the appeal on his Instagram account in an attempt to locate the dog which has gone missing in the Castletroy area - a suburb on the outskirts of Limerick city.

“Anyone see this dog in Castletroy area in Limerick please get in touch!!” he wrote in a story, with the praying emoji.

“His name is ‘Kevin’,” he added on his Instagram account which has 265,000 followers.

The Patrickswell man, 35, and his wife, model Joanna Murray from Derry, welcomed their first child only last week and announced the arrival of baby Alfie Murray, on Instagram on Saturday morning.

Joanna, 30, gave birth to the little boy last Tuesday but the couple decided to spend some private time with their baby before officially announcing their happy news.
