STUDENTS at St Mary’s Secondary School, Charleville, are set to benefit from state-of-the-art science facilities made possible through a significant sponsorship by Regeneron Ireland. This represents a major upgrade to the school’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education offering.

The launch ceremony, held on October 4 marked the opening of two fully equipped, modern science labs designed to provide students with an immersive, hands-on learning experience. Attendees included both past and current school staff, students, past pupils, Regeneron Ireland representatives, parents, and members of St Mary’s Board of Management and the local community.

The renovated labs feature the latest scientific equipment, including digital interactive whiteboards, high-tech microscopes, and modern safety features, allowing students to conduct experiments and research projects. These improvements also align with St Mary’s focus on preparing students for an increasingly science- and technology-driven world.
