Limerick City and County Council are inviting the public to A Magical Winter’s Tale, an illuminated Christmas procession run by LUXe Theatre Company.
The show will begin at Pery Square on Sunday, December 1 at 7:30pm, and is set to feature "beautifully costumed characters and elegant processional sculptures that will light up the streets of Limerick".
Viewing points along the route will be located at Pery Square, Tait’s Clock, Glentworth Street, O’Connell Street (from Glentworth Street to The Crescent), The Crescent and Barrington Street.
Mayor of Limerick, John Moran said: “A Magical Winter’s Tale by the celebrated LUXe Theatre Company is a wonderful addition to our Christmas celebrations. We invite everyone to join us and experience the magic of the season through this spectacular event.
“We all know Limerick has the best backdrop in Ireland for a magical Georgian Christmas. This year is but the beginning of making that an annual event. I am hoping now that the local residents and businesses will get involved and add their own Christmas cheer and decorations to provide the perfect backdrop for our parade.”
