Today FM star Louise Cantillon joins Séaghan Ó’Súilleabháin, aka the Kerry Cowboy and TV presenter Proinsias Ó’Coinn on their as gaeilge adventure abroad
A “FUN, quirky and slightly chaotic” travel show is returning to our TV screens, and will once again feature one Limerick star.
TG4’s travel series Téacs Taistil is back for its third season and will once again feature Limerick broadcaster and social media star, Louise Cantillon.
The Kilcornan native and avid gaeilgeoir is once again joining Séaghan Ó’Súilleabháin, aka the Kerry Cowboy and TV presenter Proinsias Ó’Coinn, for a three-day adventure around the world, where they are given just 24 hours' notice to jet off to an unknown destination.
Today FM’s presenter and How To Gael podcast host Louise said: “I’m very excited for season three of Téacs Taistil and to be back on the road with the boys.
“I honestly feel this is the best season yet and that the destinations really caught us by surprise. Lots of surprises in store for the viewer, lots of really great moments. I had some special encounters with people and places that I never would have expected.
“One in particular that stands out for me is a dog shelter in Morocco. I’m not particularly an animal person, but I have come home a patron of this shelter.”

Louise, who is married to star Limerick hurler Declan Hannon, concluded by saying that she really believes that people will “enjoy watching the series just as much as we enjoyed making it.”
For the first time, the trio is leaving Europe and getting lost in North Africa. They also hit the fairgrounds in Seville, take a walk in the clouds over Bratislava, and learn some traditional skills in West Cork.
“This fun, quirky, and slightly chaotic adventure show has gone from strength to strength,” a show spokesperson said.
“From chasing the Northern Lights in Iceland to roaming the ancient walled city of Split, or even just braving the rickety roads of Cavan, our three highly competitive presenters have to throw themselves into the local way of life - all while waiting for their next set of text instructions.
“Where they stay, what they do, and how they eat? That’s all decided by a mysterious texter.”
Catch Téacs Taistil this Wednesday, April 2 at 9.30pm on TG4.
