PICTURES: Limerick drama lovers in 'Cloverfield' with showing of hit play this weekend

A Skull in Connemara, by Martin McDonagh, tells the story of gravedigger Mick Dowd

AFTER receiving standing ovations during their recent run in Pallasgreen and Kilmallock, Grean Drama group is hitting the road once again.

They are bringing A Skull in Connemara, by Martin McDonagh, to the stage in The Teach, Cloverfield, under the expert direction of Ann O'Dwyer, this weekend. The performance is on this Sunday, April 6 at 8pm.

One of the Leenane trilogy, A Skull in Connemara tells the story of Mick Dowd, a gravedigger, who has the arduous task of making room in the local graveyard for any new arrivals.

When he has to move his deceased wife, things take a turn when past suspicions regarding her death come back to haunt him.

Ann promises plenty of laughs in this dramatic comedy.
