PRIDE in Limerick welcomes the addition of accommodation for festival-goers for the first time this year, to foster a safe space of community for the weekend of celebrations.

An exclusive Pride Village has been announced by Limerick Pride in partnership with the University of Limerick.

The addition of the pride village aims to create a safe accommodation space for attendees of the Limerick pride celebrations this July.

It is the first year a dedicated accommodation hub has been available in Limerick, and will be an exclusive addition for festival-goers.

Limerick Pride Festival 2025 will take place from July 7 to 13, with the parade taking place on Saturday, July 12, gathering at Merchants Quay.

The theme of this year's festival is 'United in this Together', and Limerick Pride is happy to announce this safe space dedicated to the celebration of community for the weekend, highlighting the importance of the theme of unity.

The Pride Village will offer a limited number of rooms and apartments on the University of Limerick campus, providing a safe, welcoming, and convenient place to stay during the weekend’s festivities.

The new initiative is in response to the growing demand for accessible accommodation during Limerick Pride Weekend for the many participants visiting from outside of Limerick City.

For the first time ever, attendees can book one or two nights and stay right in the heart of the action, surrounded by fellow Pride-goers.

Limerick Pride Chairperson Lisa Daly said, "It's great to have this partnership with University of Limerick and to give everyone the chance to celebrate Limerick Pride.

By making the weekend more accessible to pride-goers from outside of the city, we are happy to shine a spotlight on the incredibly welcoming atmosphere we have created through Limerick Pride."

Whether you're travelling from outside Limerick or just want to immerse yourself fully in the celebrations, Pride Village is the perfect way to experience the weekend like never before.

However, with limited availability, booking is essential —  to secure your place the deadline is Friday, May 10th.

Only registered Limerick Pride attendees will be permitted to book through this system and rooms are strictly reserved for Pride Village guests only.

To ensure the security and exclusivity of Pride Village, the booking process will follow a secure, multi-step registration.

Attendees can contact info@limerickpride.ie to register interest.
