A MAN who had his registration plates stolen from his vehicle in Limerick city reported it to gardaí, who are now investigating the matter in Roxboro Road garda station.
The vehicle was parked on Lower Edward St at 10pm overnight on Wednesday, April 30.
The following morning, the man reported to gardaí that he awoke to find his registration plates had been stolen.

“Vehicle number plates are often stolen to replace other number plates of vehicles used in the commission of crime,” said Sergeant Michelle O’Halloran, crime prevention officer, Henry St garda station.
“The sooner thefts are reported, the quicker gardaí can respond and possibly prevent further crimes.”
This incident is under investigation at Roxboro Road garda station. Anyone with information or who observed suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact 061 214340.
