AN ATTEMPTED burglary of a garden shed in Limerick over the May bank holiday weekend is being investigated by gardaí.
Between Saturday night and Sunday morning, May 3 and 4, there was an attempted burglary at a garden shed in Corelish West, Pallasgreen, between 1am and 2am.
“Two locks on the shed were broken, but thankfully nothing was taken,” said Sergeant Michelle O’Halloran, crime prevention officer, Henry St garda station.

“When securing garden sheds, consider investing 10% to 20% of the shed's value in security measures, including good quality locks and bolts, CCTV, alarms, motion sensor lighting and marking tools with identifiable details.
“These steps make stolen items harder to sell and increase the chance of recovery.”
Local gardaí are conducting enquiries into the matter and ask that anyone with any information contacts the garda confidential line on 1800 666 111.
