BALLINGARRY is gearing up for another unforgettable June Bank Holiday weekend as B-Fest 2025 makes its much-anticipated return. Running from Friday, May 30 to Monday, June 2, the popular community festival offers four days of music, entertainment, and fundraising, all in aid of two important cancer charities.

B-Fest has grown into a beloved local tradition since 2012, raising over €130,000 for various charities and community organisations over the years. This year, organisers are aiming to surpass previous fundraising efforts, with proceeds going to the Irish Cancer Society and Breast Cancer Ireland.

The festival kicks off on Friday morning with a coffee morning and cake sale from 10am to 12.30pm.

On Saturday from 12.30pm, festivalgoers can look forward to an awakening yoga session in the renowned Mustard Seed with Aisling, followed by a health-focused talk from Breast Cancer Ireland to raise awareness about the signs and symptoms of breast cancer. Later in the afternoon, Zumba with Mairead Moran promises to get everyone moving.

The entertainment ramps up on Saturday night, when local favourites Epic Shadow and Bog the Donkey take to the stage on the GIG RIG for an evening of live music from 8pm.

Sunday is all about family fun, with a Family Fun Day in the park followed by performances from DJ Shaz, Traffic, and Big Generator on the GIG RIG.

The festival will wrap up on Monday with a Monster Draw and live music in Condron’s Bar, featuring William and Michelle.

Entry to the festival is by wristband only, with wristbands on sale locally for €15. Organisers have emphasised that none of the festival’s success would be possible without the loyal and enthusiastic support of the local community.
