A popular sweet treats business has announced the closure of multiple locations across Limerick
A DESSERT shop chain known for its indulgent treats and colourful storefronts has announced the closure of all its locations across Limerick, citing "rising costs."
NOM Treats, a popular sweet treat chain, operated in three locations, on Thomas St in Limerick city, in the Crescent Shopping Centre and Castletroy Shopping Centre.
Announcing the shock closure on social media, NOM Treats said:
"After pouring our hearts into NOM Treats we’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to close our doors due to rising costs that have made it impossible for us to continue or compete with international chains.

"This business was never just about products or services — it was about people. It was about the late nights, early mornings, the small wins, the big dreams, and most importantly, the community that grew around us. You believed in us, stood by us, and gave us purpose."
They thanked all their "amazing customers" for every order and every kind word along with their team for their heart, hustle, and belief. "We believe we have had the most amazing teams through the years, and we couldn’t have done it without you. This isn’t the end — just the end of this chapter. And we carry forward with so much love, so many lessons, and endless gratitude.

NOM Treats offered an extensive menu of sweet treats including doughnuts, ice cream sundaes, crepes, belgian waffles, milk shakes, coffee and iced drinks. NOM Treats cafes were described on their website as the "perfect spaces for a cozy date night, or a grab and go ice cream sundae."
