Terrifying drive-by shooting in Limerick with 'multiple shots' fired at house

GARDAÍ have launched an investigation after a serious shooting incident in Limerick on Friday evening, June 6.

Gardaí responded to the scene after reports of gunshots fired at a house in the Southhill area late on Friday night. The incident happened in Valley View, O'Malley Park, shortly after midnight.

A Garda statement confirmed: "Shortly after midnight, multiple shots were fired from a passing car at a residential property in Valley View, O’Malley Park. No injuries were reported."

Gardaí have also confirmed that a technical examination of the scene has been conducted and investigations remain ongoing.

They are appealing for witnesses to come forward and are particularly interested in obtaining any camera footage, including dash cam recordings, from the O’Malley Park area between 12 midnight and 12:30am.
