KILCORNAN Community Council invites friends, families, neighbours, and more to the launch of their Stonehall Stories climate action engagement series.
A free event open to all, the event invites the community members to tell stories from the past and inform community actions in the future.
Taking place on Sunday, June 15 between noon and 3pm at Kilcornan community centre, the event is a part of a Climate action engagement series.
All ages will be welcome to tell all kinds of stories, recorded or written, on the day.

A historic talk on Downes’ Forge will take place on the day at 1pm, where Pat Meehan will present his engaging and exciting historic research, as well as a historic photographs exhibition.
Also on the day will be a blacksmith demo from PJ Cremin and Ragnar Cherrie, to display traditional skills to empower a resilient future.
More activities on the day will include crafts, traditional music, free veggie seedlings, local food, teas, coffees, and more, all in the name of community engagement and climate action.
