Lights, camera, action! Limerick people wanted to star in once-in-a-lifetime Ryder Cup film

“A FANTASTIC opportunity” to feature in a promotion video for the 2027 Ryder Cup in Adare Manor has just been announced.

Ryder Cup Productions are asking the public to appear in an upcoming promo film, and are on the lookout for “enthusiastic extras and actors”.

This promo will mark the official Ryder Cup handover from New York to Adare Manor, and celebrate the community of Limerick coming together to welcome golf’s greatest team event.

All ages, ethnicities, and genders are welcome to apply across a number of roles, including: parents with their children, a pair of young adult friends, a group of traditional adult sport fans and senior men and women aged 60 to 80 years.

Filming will take place from July 14 to 18 and most scenes will involve a half-day filming in and around the city of Limerick. 

The final scene will then recall all volunteers to join a procession up to the front door of Adare Manor itself.
