Russell Watson set to play University Concert Hall in 2026
RUSSELL WATSON, classical tenor and crossover artist, known as‘ The Voice’, will be bringing his stage show ‘Russell Watson – The Voice Returns’ to Ireland in 2026 for three performances.
Watson will be accompanied by long time collaborator, pianist, producer and arranger Mike Moran. The pair is set to take to the University Concert Hall stage Friday, May 29, 2026.

Discussing the Irish dates, Russell commented “It’s several years since I have performed in Ireland. Irish audiences have always made me feel so welcome and I can’t wait to bring this show to Ireland.”
In his live show, Russell delivers renditions of beloved musical theatre and classical pieces. Highlights include performances of Bring Him Home from Les Misérables, Music of the Night from The Phantom of the Opera, the ’O Sole Mio, and the timeless classic Moon River.
Described by the New York Times as a performer who ‘sings like Pavarotti and entertains the audience like Sinatra’, Russell Watson has released ten studio albums to critical acclaim.
His debut album The Voice, released 25 years ago in September 2000, shot up the UK charts where he held the number spot for a world record 52 weeks.
At the same time he topped the USA charts, making him the first British male singer to achieve a simultaneous UK/USA number one.
