Burglary of business in County Limerick village under investigation

Entry was gained by thieves to a business premises in Ballylanders by smashing the front window, with burglars later fleeing in a small light coloured vehicle

Gardaí are appealing for information following the burglary of a business premises in Ballylanders

GARDAÍ are appealing for information following the burglary of a business premises in Ballylanders.

Sergeant Michelle O’Halloran, Crime Prevention Officer, Limerick stated: “In the early hours of 12th August, at approximately 10 past three, entry was gained by thieves to a business premises on Main Street, Ballylanders by smashing the front window, with burglars later fleeing in a small light coloured vehicle.”

She said the burglary is under investigation by Bruff Garda Station.

Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have information in relation to this or may have dash cam footage to contact gardai in Bruff on 061382940 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111. “You may prevent a crime from occurring.”
