TRIBUTES are being paid to a man who died in a fatal workplace accident at a premises in County Limerick.
The man has been named as Michael Gerard (Gerry) O'Donnell, of Marshalstown in Mitchelstown, Cork. He worked for Kelly Agricultural Contractors.
Paying tribute to Gerry on rip.ie, one mourner said he was always great craic and had a smile on his face. He was also described as a "lovely man with a heart of gold."
Another mourner noted: "Gerry was a hard worker, a true gentleman and always took the time to say hello and ask how you were."

Gerry died in a fatal workplace accident in Garryarthur near Glenroe on Wednesday. His body was removed to University Hospital Limerick where a post-mortem examination took place. The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) were notified and attended the scene.
Gerry will repose at the Chapel of Rest, Baldwin Street, Mitchelstown, P67 DX81, this Saturday from 5pm to 7pm.
Reception into The Church of Mary Conceived Without Sin, Mitchelstown, P67 FT73 on Monday morning, September 22 for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Kildorrery Cemetery.
Son of the late Frances and dear brother of Helen (Fox), Terence, Paddy and Liam.
Gerry will be sadly missed by his loving family, brother-in-law Conor, sisters-in-law Margie and Anne, The Kelly family, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, work colleagues and friends.
