My Week with Celia Holman Lee: Fashion from muddy fields to city streets!

WE KICKED off the week in true Holman Lee style, bright and early, departing Limerick at 6am for a stunning, scenic drive to County Offaly.

Our destination? None other than the iconic National Ploughing Championships!

Every day, our dedicated team of nine Limerick-based models made the round trip to and from the Ploughing site, joined by our incredible music, lighting, and sound crew.

It was a full production on the move, and despite the early mornings, the excitement was palpable.

Our Fashion Dome at the Ploughing was nothing short of a triumph. With three shows daily, each with 300 seats and more standing, we were blown away to see close to 1,000 attendees each day.

Rain, hail, or shine the crowds came out in force, their enthusiasm never wavering. The energy was electric, the fashion fabulous and the atmosphere absolutely magical.

No sooner had we packed up from Offaly than we were back in Limerick for the much-anticipated Culture Night.

We transformed Thomas Street into a chic outdoor runway!

Thanks to the generosity of Mickey Martin’s Pub, who provided a perfect pop-up tent as our model changing area, everything came together flawlessly.

Our fashion show was sponsored by Limerick City and County Council and Culture Night.

From muddy fields to city lights, this past week proved that fashion has no rules!
