UNIVERSITY Concert Hall (UCH) Limerick has unveiled the lineup for its Comedy Weekend, a two-night celebration of Irish comedy taking place on Friday, October 10 and Saturday, October 11.

This exclusive event brings together some of the country’s most acclaimed and exciting comedic voices.

Friday’s show kicks off with Tony Cantwell - who was previously praised by Graham Norton for his Amazon Prime appearance on LOL: Last One Laughing Ireland - alongside Kevin McGahern, known for hosting the recent season of The Traitors: Uncloaked.

Karl Spain and Sinéad Quinlan will also take to the UCH stage, with Brian Gallagher, a Limerick native and Edinburgh Fringe regular, serving as MC.

Saturday brings another hilarious lineup, headlined by Shane Todd, host of the Tea With Me podcast and has previously opened for Bill Burr and Kevin Hart.

Also performing on Saturday night are Martin Angolo, Fiona Frawley, and Tom O’Mahony, known for his work on RTÉ's Bridget & Eamon and various other comedy podcasts.

Hosting duties fall to Julie Jay, a seasoned comic who has supported Tommy Tiernan and Ardal O’Hanlon.

A university spokesperson spoke on the event saying, “With no other venue hosting this lineup and all performers appearing exclusively on the UCH stage, Comedy Weekend is a new must attend event in Ireland’s comedy calendar for 2025.”

Tickets for the event can be found on uch.ie.
