A MOTORIST was rushed to hospital following a collision on the outskirts of Limerick city in the early hours of this Friday morning.
Emergency services - Limerick Fire and Rescue Service, members of An Garda Siochana and paramedics with the National Ambulance Service - all responded to the single vehicle incident.

The man’s injuries are not understood to be serious.
When contacted for comment, a garda spokesperson said gardaí attended the scene of a single vehicle road traffic collision that occurred in the Raheen area of Limerick city this Friday morning, October 2 at approximately 4 am.
“A male in his 40s was conveyed to University Hospital Limerick for assessment.
“Investigations are ongoing,” said the garda spokesperson.
