A front door was damaged

GARDAÍ are investigating a break-in at a retailer in the city centre after intruders damaged the front door.

“Gardai attended a retailers on Cruises Street following an alarm activation” said Sergeant Michelle O’Halloran, Crime Prevention Officer of Henry Street Garda Station.

“The front door of the premises had been damaged, and entry gained to the window display. Thankfully, the shutters prevented further access to the store," added Sgt O'Halloran.

This matter is under investigation by Gardai at Henry Street, and they would like to hear from anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the area. Contact 061 212400.
