Pitbull and Lewis Capaldi are set to play Thomond Park next summer

LIMERICK is set to become the heart of Ireland’s live music scene next summer as two international music artists have announced major concerts at Thomond Park Stadium.

Pitbull and Lewis Capaldi as part of their 2026 UK & Ireland tours will be bringing their shows to the city.

International chart-topper Pitbull, also known as Mr Worldwide, has announced his return to Ireland with the I’m Back! Tour, which includes a highly anticipated stop in Limerick on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.

The Miami superstar will bring his signature high-energy performance to Thomond Park as part of a five-city stadium tour across the UK and Ireland, which kicks off on June 30 in Belfast and wraps up at London’s iconic Hyde Park.

The Limerick concert marks Pitbull’s final Irish performance of the tour, promising an unforgettable summer night of music, lights, and spectacle.

Tickets for the Limerick show go on general sale this Friday, October 10 at 12pm via Ticketmaster.

Just weeks before Pitbull arrives in Limerick, Scottish superstar Lewis Capaldi will grace the same stage with a powerful show on Friday, June 26, 2026, as part of his much-anticipated UK and Ireland arena tour.

Capaldi’s Limerick show comes on the heels of his chart-topping second album, Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, which held No 1 hits like Pointless, Wish You The Best, and the platinum-certified Forget Me.

Known for his emotionally raw vocals and candid charm, Capaldi’s Thomond Park performance is expected to be one of the most moving live events of the summer.

Working with renowned producers including Max Martin, Malay and longtime collaborator Phil Plested, Capaldi has cemented his status as one of the leading voices in modern pop.

The iconic stadium, home to Munster Rugby, has previously hosted global icons such as Ed Sheeran and Elton John, and now prepares to welcome thousands of fans for back-to-back international tours.

With two global superstars set to perform in Limerick, summer 2026 at Thomond Park is shaping up to be a landmark season of music and unforgettable live entertainment.

Fans are encouraged to secure tickets early to experience these iconic artists live in one of Limerick's iconic sporting and concert venues.
