Limerick Fire and Rescue Service received a report from the secondary school at 3.50pm

BREAKING: Emergency services respond to major incident at Limerick school

EMERGENCY services are currently at the scene of an incident at Castletroy College this Thursday afternoon.

Gardai, firefighters and paramedics with National Ambulance Services have all responded. Limerick Live understands that it relates to “potentially hazardous material”.

There have been no reports of any injuries to students at this time.

Limerick Fire and Rescue Service received a report at 3.50pm and three appliances responded.

Gardai, Limerick City and County Council and Castletroy College have all been contacted for comment.
