BREAKING: Scene cordoned off after incident in Limerick

GARDAI have cordoned off the scene after an attack on a property on the southside of the city, Limerick Live understands.

According to sources, a device was "thrown" at a home in the Hyde Road area of Ballinacurra Weston late last night.

There are no reports of any injuries at this time.

The Defence Forces Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team has responded from Cork and gardai have put a cordon in place for forensic analysis.

Gardai and the Defence Forces have been contacted for comment.
