UISCE Éireann say crews are working to restore normal water supply to customers in Limerick city and surrounding areas this Thursday afternoon
“Following a major burst on a water main, this may result in supply interruptions and loss of pressure along the network, impacting Limerick city and surrounding areas.
“Uisce Éireann crews are on site and working to return supply to normal levels for affected customers as quickly as possible, but due to the complexity of the burst, it is proving difficult to repair and may take some time for normal water supply to return to customers,” said an Uisce Éireann spokesperson.

They say customers may experience low water pressure, temporary water discolouration or intermittent disruptions to water supply.
