The Vision of Hope Mass at 7pm this Wednesday night, October 22 in the church on the Childers Road will also reflect locals’ aspirations for the future of their community.

It is organised by the ABC (A Better Community), in conjunction with Limerick Treaty Suicide Prevention.

The ABC Group was set up in September 2021. They have created a very successful group who meet every week.

They are a group of around a dozen men and women living in Ballinacurra Weston who decided that “enough was enough with the amount of devastation that our community was going through”.

Their ethos is that “everyone should get together and work together to make the community a better place and not to be anymore known as the forgotten people”.

A spokesperson for the ABC Group said: “This Mass is about our vision of hope for the future of our community and also in memory of loved ones and neighbours that we have lost throughout the years and who played a massive part in the same vision that we have for Our Lady of Lourdes.”

All are welcome from around the city and county  to the Vision of Hope Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes this Wednesday night.
