A SEARCH is under way for a new chief executive to lead Limerick council’s development arm, Limerick Twenty Thirty.
The firm, which is responsible for the development of Opera Square, was headed by David Conway up until earlier this year when he departed to become the new boss at Louth County Council.
Now, an executive search has commenced for his successor.
In a job advert, Limerick Twenty Thirty has described the role of its chief executive as being to lead the development of the organisation across its areas of interest in creativity, funding, economic development and the regeneration of the city and county.

“The chief executive will lead and execute on multi-annual programmes of large-scale economic development and will proactively identify and shape a pipeline of opportunity for investment by shareholders, funders, Government and joint venture partners,” the job advert reads.
The new chief executive, it adds, will “bring a proven track record of achievement in the delivery of strategic economic development projects, strong commercial funding and financial performance and leadership and delivery of urban regeneration initiatives.”
Lansdowne Executive Search is carrying out the job hunt.
