A COUNTY Limerick mother always put bread on the table for her 12 children when they were growing up.

Now, as Liz King, Carrickerry, celebrates her 90th birthday, she continues to regularly bake bread for her grown-up sons and daughters.

Family and friends threw a big birthday party for Mrs King who has an incredible 30 great-grandchildren.

     

Liz is pictured above with children Timmy King, Sam King, Sean King, Eileen O’Grady, Mike King, Pat King,  Nora Moriarty, Anne Quinn, Bridget King and Betty Cotter.

The beloved mum, grandmother and great-grandmother is wished a happy 90th birthday and well wishes for many more years of making loaves for her loved ones.
