Limerick formed band, Hermitage Green are set to play iconic Limerick venue next summer

LIMERICK’S Hermitage Green will be celebrating a major milestone next year with a special 15th anniversary concert at King John’s Castle next summer. 

The group will make a triumphant return to one of the city’s most iconic venues for what promises to be an unforgettable evening filled with music, memories, and celebration.

Known for their powerful live shows and infectious blend of folk, rock, and roots, the band have built a devoted following both at home and across the globe over the past decade and a half.

The performance is set to take place on May 3, 2026, with special guest Jamie McIntyre who will join them on the night.

Formed in the city in 2011, the group quickly rose to prominence with their dynamic sound and energetic performances. 

From sold-out tours across Ireland, Australia, the Middle East, and North America, to acclaimed releases including Save Your Soul and Hi Generation, they have consistently delivered heartfelt, high-energy shows that resonate with fans of all ages.

“We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate 15 years together than by coming home to play King John’s Castle,” said the band. “It’s where so much of our journey began, and to mark this milestone surrounded by our fans, friends, and family means the world to us.”

Set against the backdrop of King John’s Castle, the anniversary concert will be an unmissable celebration.
