DOORADOYLE native, Laura Ashley Gallagher, is set to sprinkle some festive cheer into Limerick readers’ lives with the upcoming release of her new romantic comedy novel.

‘Jingle Belle’ is Laura's ninth book and is set to release on November 6, promising to deliver all the hallmarks of a feel-good Christmas romance.

Born and raised in Dooradoyle, Laura spent much of her childhood and teenage years immersed in music before turning her creative energy toward storytelling.

A natural writer from a young age, she built a loyal online following with her heartfelt stories that blend humour, romance, and just the right amount of emotion.

Drawn to people’s stories, Gallagher went on to study journalism and has since honed her craft, specializing in warm, character-driven love stories that tug at the heartstrings.

The story follows Belle Brooks, a woman who doesn’t believe in holiday magic or blind dates. When her friends sign her up for the Twelve Dates of Christmas challenge on the Skeptically In Love podcast, Belle’s worst date quickly turns into an unexpected reunion.

The restaurant where it all goes wrong just happens to belong to Miles Bennett, her first love, and the boy she left behind when she moved to New York to chase her career.

What begins as an awkward encounter soon rekindles old feelings, as the pair realise that their story may not be over after all.

Filled with festive cheer and second chances, 'Jingle Belle' is available online and in print from November 6.
