The recently published book, Bearing Witness for Gaza, by Limerick author Kieran Beville, is generating a lot of interest. Beville recently signed copies in O’Mahony’s Bookshop in Limerick. Retailing at €15 the author confirmed that all money he receives will be donated to aid for Gaza.

Bearing Witness for Gaza is a powerful and unflinching exploration of one of the most urgent humanitarian and moral crises of our time. Irish author and scholar Kieran Beville combines historical insight, moral reflection, and journalistic clarity to expose the realities of Gaza’s suffering and the global silence that surrounds it. From the Balfour Declaration and the roots of colonial dispossession to the blockade and the destruction of modern Gaza, Beville traces how history, politics, and conscience collide in a struggle for justice and survival. Through detailed analysis he examines the legal, ethical, and human dimensions of the conflict, challenging readers to confront uncomfortable truths about power, complicity, and moral responsibility.
Bearing Witness for Gaza is not just a record of devastation. It is a call to conscience, a demand for accountability, and a plea for humanity.
