Christmas in Limerick 2025 is celebrating the theme Together for Christmas in Limerick, highlighting the joy of coming together as a community to share festive experiences across the city and county.
Communities across the county have been busy little elves preparing to welcome locals and visitors alike to join their celebrations.

Christmas at Barnagh - A series of events with Santa Paws, Breakfast with Santa, a fun crib craft workshop, Twilight Christmas Market and Women’s Little Christmas Afternoon Tea. (Various dates.)
Kilmallock Christmas Fest - A festive line up of events kicks off with a Christmas Parade this evening at 6.30pm.
Rathkeale Lights Up - A full day of events today will kick off with a Christmas Market from 11am, special guests, Santa and Mrs Clause will turn on the Christmas lights at the Crib at 4.30pm, followed by fireworks.
Castlemahon Community Development Group Christmas Market - Come join the festive fun at Castlemahon’s very first Christmas Market in Castlemahon Community Hall on Saturday, December 6.
Christmas Boutique Market in Bruff - Kick off the festive season in style with the annual Boutique Market in Bruff on Sunday, December 7 at 11am.
Murroe Christmas Market - Support this community-run Market on Sunday, December 7 from 12p to 4pm with proceeds going to charity.
Christmas Village in the Village Market, Castleconnell - Festive stalls, tasty treats, and perfect gifts await this Sunday from 10am.
Newcastle West Christmas Market - Four festive days of crafts, food, family fun, and live entertainment will take place from Saturday, December 20 to Tuesday, December 23 from 12pm to 8pm.
The Limerick Christmas Racing Festival - The four-day annual racing festival in Patrickswell attracts racegoers from across the country and takes place from Friday, December 26 to Monday, December 29. Plan a day out for some post-Christmas day fun.
