House Limerick opened on Howley’s Quay in the city centre back in October 2016
A WELL-KNOWN Limerick bar and nightclub will continue trading through Christmas and the new year, despite the companies behind it being placed into receivership.
House Limerick, located at Howley’s Quay in the city centre, is understood to have told its customers that it is business as usual for the time being - and all bookings will be honoured.

The companies behind House Limerick and House Dublin on Lower Leeson Street in the capital have held creditors meetings following the appointment of Interpath as receivers.
In simple terms, receivership in Ireland is a process where a lender takes control of a property or business assets to recover money owed.
Creditors meetings in relation to the receiverships of Sontsul and Yellow Way Ltd took place on December 17 last, as well as two other related firms.
House is part of the publican Alan Clancy’s Nola Clan Group.
It’s understood the receivership was agreed between all parties, including Mr Clancy.
House Limerick opened in the city centre back in 2016.
Around three-quarters of a million euro was invested and 40 jobs created when the bar opened.
Previously, the premises housed Clohessy’s Bar and Sin Bin nightclub.
That bar and nightclub had ceased trading two years earlier.
