VOLUNTEERS at a mental health charity in the city are highlighting two initiatives that help can support teenagers and young adults to build resilience.
Haven Hub, which is located in Thomondgate, is expanding its efforts to provide safe, inclusive spaces for people in the early stages of life.
The Haven Youth Group is designed for ages 15 to 22 inclusive who are passionate about mental health and wellbeing, while also seeking opportunities to develop creativity and meaningful connections.

It is hosting a number of activities, including filmmaking, writing, and digital media as well as weekly pizza meet-ups, discussions, celebratory events, and opportunities to travel across Europe as part of international projects.
Meanwhile, a group called Social n Sober is aimed at 18 to 30-year-olds and offers regular meet-ups focused on alcohol-free social activities.
The initiative responds to a growing demand from young people seeking alternative ways to build friendships and strengthen connections outside environments associated with drinking culture.
Through monthly sober meet-ups and group outings, participants engage in a variety of activities, including quiz nights, wellness workshops and retreats.
The charity also runs other support groups.
