Free event in Limerick city highlights employment support

The event will bring together employers, support organisations, and jobseekers to explore how the Work Placement Experience Programme can support workforce development while creating employment opportunities

BEDFORD Row Family Project, Spéire Nua, and the Department of Social Protection employer relations team are to host a Work Placement Experience Programme information event.

This free event on March 5 at Council offices, Merchants Quay will bring together employers, support organisations, and jobseekers to explore how the Work Placement Experience Programme can support workforce development while creating employment opportunities.

It will provide employers with an opportunity to discover the range of financial and employment supports available through the Department of Social Protection.

Spéire Nua will also present its Certificate of Commitment to Change, an initiative that highlights the growth, and strengths of individuals with lived experience who have overcome barriers to employment.

There is no cost to attend, and employers will have the opportunity to connect directly with jobseekers during the event.
