Miriam O'Callaghan will be interviewed by Alan English as part of the festival schedule
TO HONOUR the memory and legacy of Limerick author, Kate O'Brien, the Limerick Literary Festival has a host of events on offer.
Taking place from this Thursday, February 26 until March 1, the festival will kick off with two free events at the Belltable.

In 1984, the event started as the Kate O'Brien weekend to mark the tenth anniversary of her death and now continues to pay tribute to her impact as a writer 42 years later.
The weekend kicks off on Thursday, February 26 with a free film screening at 101 O'Connell Street of The Hedgehog in association with the Alliance Francais Limerick.
Four out of the 14 events on over the course of the weekend are free, while tickets for others are all less than €23, making it very accessible.
There will be a reflection on the life and work of Maeve Kelly on Saturday, February 28 at 10am.
On Sunday, March 1, at 10am, the College Players will do a rehearsed reading of Distinguished Villa for the Kate O'Brien Hour.
Later that day, at 4pm, former Limerick Leader editor Alan English will interview broadcaster Miriam O'Callaghan about her new memoir Miriam: Life, Work, Everything.
The Kate O'Brien award will be decided upon at the Belltable at 11.15am on Sunday, March 1. Nominees include Gethan Dick, Sharon Guard, Elaine Garvey and Niamh Ní Mhaoileoin.
The Kate O'Brien Award is a free event.
The festival is supported by the Arts Council, Limerick City and County Council Festival and Events and Arts office, the French Embassy in Ireland and RTE supporting the arts.
