New Limerick city Vintners committee targets night-time economy

THE Vintners' Federation of Ireland, Limerick City elected a new committee for 2026 at their AGM.

The guest speaker on the night was Michael O'Donovan, president of VFI. Among the issues discussed on the night were business rates, safety of the public, customer footfall, government imposed costs, cost of energy and other utilities and many more.

Also working with other stakeholders in the city such as Chamber of Commerce, Limerick Council, Limerick.ie, Limerick City Traders to help develop a better night-time economy via initiatives like Twilight Thursday.

The new committee elected for 2026 is as follows:
