Man charged in relation to the death of a Limerick nurse in a three-car collision

He will appear before Limerick District Court

A YOUNG man who was arrested as part of an investigation into a fatal road traffic collision, in which nurse Áine O'Reilly lost her life, has been charged. 

The collision happened on the N24 at Grange West, Boher, Limerick on Friday, February 13. 

The man who was arrested on Thursday, will appear before Limerick District Court this morning, Friday, March 20. 

Ms O'Reilly who was 33-years-old at the time, from Pallasgreen had been travelling to work for a night shift as a nurse, on the night she died. 

The three-car collision happened shortly after 11pm.

Ms O'Reilly was pronounced dead at the scene, while another driver, a man in his 40's was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
