A CONSULTANCY firm based in Limerick city centre has been nominated for a national award.

Antaris Consulting Ltd, based in Pery Square, is a finalist at the 2026 Business and Finance ESG awards, in association with Grant Thornton.

Now in their fourth year, these are designed to recognise excellence and impact across environmental, social and governance initiatives.

The winners will be revealed at a ceremony at Dublin’s Mansion House later this month.

Antaris - which helps companies become more environmentally friendly and follow business rules properly- is nominated in the consultancy category.

Another local firm, SK tes, which is based in the Shannon Free Zone is nominated in the category of small to medium sized company.

Nearby, a further Shannon company has also been recognised.

calQrisk, whose staff have developed software that helps companies keep track of risks and make sure they’re following rules, is nominated in the innovation section.

Janice Daly, partner and sustainability lead at Grant Thornton, said: “In an increasingly complex business landscape, this year’s finalists have shown how integrating ESG matters into business strategy can deliver long‑term value and real impact. Many have continued to progress their sustainability commitments despite the broader uncertainties facing businesses today. Their approach shows that strong governance, climate-related and environmental responsibility, along with social impact, are essential to building resilient and responsible organisations.”

Chief operating officer of Business and Finance, Clare Kilmartin added: “The calibre of entries for the awards has been exceptionally strong, reflecting the growing maturity and ambition of ESG strategies across Irish business. We are seeing organisations move beyond commitments to deliver tangible, measurable impact.”

Some 115 companies are nominated across 16 separate categories.
