Public meeting called amid fears of traffic carnage in Limerick

A PUBLIC meeting is to take place at Coláiste Chiaráin in Croom this Thursday, April 9, amid concerns the impact the proposed M20 will have on traffic in the town.

Organised by Independent Ireland councillor John O’Donoghue, it will feature contributions from the Irish Farmers Association, the Irish Creamery Milk Suppliers’ Association, the Association of Farm and Forestry Contractors in Ireland.

As well as this, traders and other locals from Croom will attend.

There are fears that the construction of the Limerick to Cork motorway could push heavy traffic into Croom.

All are welcome to attend the meeting, which begins at 7.30pm.
