The death has occurred of Eileen Hickey (née Russell).
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Eileen Hickey, formerly of Fairview Terrace and late of Palos Verdes, California.
Peacefully in the excellent care of The Park Nursing Home, Castletroy, Limerick.
Pre-deceased by her husband John (Joe), her parents Patrick and Ellen (née Reeves), her sister Mary and brothers- in- law Eamonn McDonagh and John Murphy along with her niece Orla Murphy.
Eileen leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness and will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her sisters Nuala and Teresa, her brother-in-law Michael Flannery, her niece Eileen, nephews Seamus and Liam along with their spouses, and the Murphy and McDonagh families.
Eileen will be sadly missed by her grandnieces and grandnephews, extended family, and friends both in Limerick and California.
Funeral arriving to St. John’s Cathedral, on Friday, 24th April, for Requiem Mass at 11am, with Burial afterwards in Mount St. Lawrence Cemetery.

Dominic Hilton (late of Raheen, Dooradoyle and Edward Street Limerick.)
Dominic passed away after a short illness on April 15th 2026, peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick.
Beloved husband of Catherina. Dearly loved father of Diarmuid, Orla and Aoife. Sadly missed by his sisters Claire and Dolores. Lovingly remembered by his nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Joe and sisters Frances and Marie.
In accordance with Dominic's wishes, his immediate family attended a private Requiem Mass at Crecora church on 20th April followed by burial in Crecora cemetery.
Dominic's wife and children wish to thank everyone for their understanding.

Pre-deceased by siblings Kay, Chris and Junior.
Sadly missed by his sisters Maura, Sylvia and Valerie, brother Lloyd, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

She passed away peacefully at Thorpes Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved wife of Denis. Dearly loved mother of Seán, Aileen and Aongus. Sadly missed by her loving daughters-in-law Lisa and Gemma, son-in-law Brian (Nestor), her adored grandchildren Caoimhe, Clodagh, Sam, Maya, Max, Ronan, Maeve and Faye brothers Pádraig, Tomás, sisters Máirín, Peig, Eileen and Siobhan, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Thursday (23rd April) from 5pm to 6.30pm. Funeral arriving at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road on Friday (24th April) for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in Castlemungret Cemetery.

Sr. Maura died peacefully, in Catherine McAuley House, on 21st April 2026.
Pre-deceased by her parents Pat and Annie (Higgins), brother Gerard and brother-in-law Paul Willis.
Deeply regretted by her Presentation Community, her sister Patricia, nieces Alison, Tamara, Carmel, Joanne and Barbara, nephews Patrick and Tony, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews, sister-in-law Joan, extended family and many friends.

Funeral to arrive at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Janesboro on Friday 24th, April for Requiem Mass at 11am.
Burial afterwards in Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.
