My week with Celia Holman Lee: Team Limerick wow at the VIP style awards launch

I AM delighted to announce that I have been nominated in the category of Most Stylish Woman at the VIP Style Awards. The launch of the awards was simply fabulous. I'm sure the ceremony itself will be even more glamorous.

Nominated in my category is Tipperary woman Una Healy - who works as a presenter and sang in The Saturdays - and my good friend Maura Derrane from RTÉ’s Today Show. Amy Huberman and Sinead Kennedy are up for the award too, and I feel simply honoured to be listed with such strong, graceful and powerful women.

The launch took place in Dublin’s InterContinental Hotel, and I attended with the wonderful Limerick women, Louise Cooney and Aoife McNamara.

Louise is nominated for Look of the Year, and Aoife McNamara is up for Irish Designer of the Year. Both women would make excellent winners - as they are working at the top of their fields, and do everything they can for fashion in Limerick.

I am very lucky to have both women in my circles - and the loyalty, dedication and entrepreneurial spirit of the ladies is truly something else to behold.

To everyone’s delight at the launch, Paudie Moloney, who has worked in Limerick Prison, and made huge waves on Dancing with the Stars, and The Traitors, has been nominated for most Stylish Newcomer of the Year.

The man is a class act, and a gent, and he deserves all the success that has come his way. The voting is open for the VIP Style Awards on VIP Magazine’s website - and I urge you to support Team Limerick.

There is no better feeling than showing your county pride, and I just know that the Limerick people will continue to make us proud on the national stage in May.

-Xx Celia
