Longford dancer Cormac Lynch
Nineteen dancers from Áirc Damhsa, including Longford's, Cormac Lynch, performed to a packed audience at the Hawk's Well Theatre Sligo on Sunday, March 26 for the premiere of Becoming Different.
‘Becoming Different’ is a celebration of everything that makes us different; the small and not so small things that define us from one person to the next.
Mullinalaghta's Cormac and his eighteen co dancers take a look at themselves, the challenges they face because of their distinctive traits and the differences they make to each other and the world in which they live.
‘Becoming Different’ is directed, choreographed and produced by the 19 dancers with mentoring by Edwina Guckian. The project was supported by the Arts Council of Ireland - Young People & Children in Education.
