Noeleen Kelly (née Armstrong), Tarmon Harbour, Tarmonbarry, Roscommon / Longford


The death occurred, suddenly but peacefully at the Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar, on Friday, June 9, 2023 of Noeleen Kelly (nee Armstrong), Tarmon Harbour, Tarmonbarry, Roscommon/ Longford.  Predeceased by her parents William and Kathleen. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, daughters Jil and Andrea, sons Mark and David and their father Tom, daughter-in-law Christine, son-in-law Richard, sisters Phyllis and Marie, her adored grandchildren, great-grandchild, best friends Ann and Elaine, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Sunday, June 11 from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection at 11am on Monday, June 12 in St Mel’s Cathedral, followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 2pm. Helen Curran (née McNerney), Smear Road, Aughnacliffe, Longford


The death occurred on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 of Helen Curran (née McNerney), Smear Road, Aughnacliffe, Longford. Predeceased by her father Frank and by her brother Seamus. Helen will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, husband Charlie, daughters Kay Patton and Margaret Murtagh, son Joe, mother Margaret (Legga), sisters Elizabeth Fitzpatrick (U.K.), Margaret McGahern (Mullahoran) and Anne (Legga), brothers Joe (Legga), Francis (Legga) and Eamon (Legga) , daughter-in-law Marie , sons-in-law John and Padraig, her adoring grandchildren Jack, Gemma, Daniel, James, Sarah, Katie and Emily, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Saturday, June 10 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Michael Doorley, Kildallogue Heights, Strokestown, Roscommon


The death occurred, peacefully at University Hospital Roscommon, on Friday, June 9, 2023 of Michael Doorley, Kildallogue Heights, Strokestown, Roscommon. Predeceased by his twin grandsons Liam and Eoghan. Loving husband of Una and much loved father of Anne Marie and Helen, sons in law Dusko and Gerard, his adored grandchildren Cathal, Daragh, Cormac, Emma and Ciara, his brothers J.P., John and Tom, nephews and nieces, sisters in law, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at McHugh's Funeral Home Strokestown on Sunday, June 11 from 5pm until 7pm. Removal from his home on Monday, June 12 to arrive at Strokestown Parish Church for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Strokestown Cemetery. Michael's Funeral Mass can be viewed by clicking HERE

Veronica Leslie (née Turbett), Drumhirk, Gortletteragh, Leitrim


The death occurred, surrounded by her family in the care of the staff at Lough Erril Nursing Home, Mohill, on Friday, June 9, 2023 of Veronica Leslie (née Turbett), Drumhirk, Farnaught, Mohill, Co Leitrim. Beloved wife of John and dear mother of Denise O’Donoghue, sadly missed by her husband, daughter, son in law Barry, brother Michael, grandchildren Rían and Remi, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and friends. May Veronica Rest in Peace.
Reposing at her home on Sunday, June 11 from 4pm until 7pm. Removal leaving her home on Monday evening, June 12 to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Gortlettragh at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon followed by burial in local Cemetery. House private outside of reposing times please.
Those attending Veronica’s funeral are asked to follow best practice in relation to Covid 19. Veronica’s family wish to thank you for your understanding at this enormously difficult time.

Bridie McKeon (née McAndrew), Aughamore, Carrick-on-Shannon, Leitrim, N41 FW74


The death occurred, peacefully, at her home, surrounded by her loving family, following a short illness, on Friday, June 9, 2023 of Bridie McKeon (née McAndrew), Antfield, Aughamore, Carrick-on-Shannon, Leitrim, N41 FW74. Predeceased by her parents John & Maura and son John. Beloved wife of Micèal and loving mother to Karen (McGovern) and Michelle (Butler). Bridie will be sadly missed by her loving husband, daughters, sisters Maureen and Anne, brother Tom, sons-in-law Gearoid and Paul, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and many friends. May Bridie's Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.
Reposing at Bridie's home N41 FW74 on Saturday, June 10 from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday, June 11 at 1pm in St Mary’s Church, Annaduff, Co Leitrim, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to the North West Hospice Sligo. The family appreciates your sympathy, support and understanding at this sad time. 

Seán White, Glasson Village, Athlone, Westmeath, N37 FY06 / Cavan


The death occurred, at home surrounded by his wonderful family on Thursday, June 8, 2023 of Sean White, (Renault Dealer), Glasson Village, Athlone, Co Westmeath and formerly of Arva, Co Cavan.
Predeceased by his beloved daughter Aoife, parents Francis (Leitrim) and Margaret (Carlow) and his sisters Maura and Nuala. Sadly missed by his loving wife Mary (née Foley) , daughter Aideen, son-in-law Brian (Mooney), grandchildren Lily and Danny, sisters Rita (Vaughan) and Fidelma (de Faoite), in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and many friends. May He Rest In Peace.
Reposing at his residence (Glasson Village, N37 FY06) on Saturday, June 10 from 4pm until 7pm and on Sunday, June 11 from 3pm until 7pm. Funeral Service on Monday, June 12 at 1pm in Grogan’s Garden (Glasson Village, N37 W6R0) followed by private cremation afterwards. Family home private outside these visiting hours please. Due to this bereavement, Seán White’s Car Sales will be closed on Saturday, June 10 and Monday, June 12. The family greatly appreciates your sympathy and support at this very difficult time. Due to increases in viruses and vulnerability of elderly people, the family asks that those attending the funeral be vigilant and hand sanitise where appropriate.

Nan (Nancy Neal) McGrath, Gurteen, Ballymahon, Longford


The death occurred, in the care of Comfort House Hospice, Mc Allen Texas, on Saturday, May 20, 2023 of Nan (Nancy Neal) McGrath, Gurteen, Ballymahon, Longford and Mission, Texas, USA. Predeceased by her parents Hugh and Nancy McGrath, her beloved husband Keith and her brother Paddy. She is sadly missed by her daughter, Megan, her son-in-law Jeremy Whitted, brothers Tom and Barney, her sister Kitty (Feeney), her sisters-in-law Julie and Margaret, nieces, nephews, her extended family and her many friends.
Nan's funeral Mass will take place on Friday, May 26, in Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Mission Texas, which may be viewed via their Facebook page Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Mission TX at 8pm (Irish time). A Memorial Mass for Nan will be held in St Matthew's Church, Ballymahon on Saturday, June 10, at 11am. May she rest in eternal peace.
