The 6th class pupils of St Joseph's National School, Longford certainly showed that, as well as being talented in other areas, they are kind kids too.
As part of their graduation ceremony on Tuesday, June 20, they presented substantial money gifts for GOAL's Street children and also to the children of Ukraine.
Accepting the cheque, an emotional Katheryna Pshenchna, of 'Little Steps for Ukraine - Longford' told them about girls their own age who are living in dread because of the brutal invasion of their country.
Through tears, she told them that their generosity will lift the hearts of little girls caught up in the war.
One of the St Joseph's pupils who presented the cheque, Anastasia Kalinovskaya was lucky enough to have fled the conflict.
For staff, pupils it was an uplifting if deeply emotional experience.
