After just missing out on a place in the 100m Breaststroke semi-finals at the World Aquatics Championships on Sunday, elite Longford athlete Darragh Greene was back in action in the heats of the 50m Breaststroke in Japan this Tuesday morning.
Darragh won his heat of the 50m Breaststroke in 27.54 to finish in twenty second place overall in a brave but unsuccessful bid to reach the semi-finals in racing against some of the fastest swimmers in the world.
Greene returns to the pool on Thursday morning for the heats of the 200m Breaststroke.
