Longford SFC: Killoe snatch win against Mullinalaghta with last gasp goal

A goal from Ronan Keogh in the fourth minute of stoppage time snatched victory from the jaws of defeat for Killoe Emmet Og against Mullinalaghta St Columba’s in a dramatic finish to the Senior Football Championship Group 2 Round 4 clash at Páirc na nGael in Dromard on Sunday evening.

The late, late drama also included a red card for Mullinalaghta keeper Patrick Rogers for a robust challenge on Michael Quinn as the Leader Cup and Division 1 League champions finished the game with 14  players.

After winning their fourth game in the current championship campaign, Killoe qualify for the quarter-finals as group winners with St Columba’s also through to the last eight.
