A fantastic Dylan Farrell display led St Brigid’s Killashee to a surprise victory over a stunned Ardagh Moydow in the Round 6 clash at McGann Park in Kenagh on Friday night last.

St Brigid’s Killashee . . . 0-17   Ardagh Moydow . . . 1-13

Paddy Dowd’s committed charges came out the right side of a titanic battle thanks to an unbelievable point from Farrell right at the end of additional time to grab a memorable victory and blow open this very competitive Intermediate Football Championship.

In one of the best games in the championship so far, St Brigid's win keeps them in the hunt for a semi-final berth while Ardagh Moydow have suffered a serious setback in their Hennessy Cup ambitions.

The victor of the local derby clash between Cashel and Killashee will now clinch the last spot but a draw and an Ardagh Moydow win over Kenagh would allow Nicholas Farrell’s side to snatch fourth place.

County star Dylan Farrell, not long home from the United States, fired over their final 7 points including some of the finest scores you would see under immense pressure.
