Killoe cruised to a very easy win over a disappointing Mostrim side in the Droplink Ladies Football Senior Championship quarter-final at Emmet Park on Sunday.
Killoe . . . 5-8 Mostrim . . . 1-4
It was all over as a contest at half-time, at which stage rampant Killoe had built up a massive 5-4 to 0-2 lead with Niamh Brady (2), Jacinta Brady, Darina McGoldrick and Dearbhaile Kiernan scoring the goals.
Both sides brought on substitutes in the second half with Ella Reilly scoring a consolation goal for Mostrim.
Killoe, forced to field without the injured Anne Marie Bratten, now move on to meet Clonguish in the sem-final in a couple of weeks time.
Particularly impressive for Killoe were Jacinta Brady and Niamh Brady with the deadly accurate full-forward Niamh clocking up a total of 2-3.
