After the fantastic feedback from his performance last September the legendary Rob Strong brings his band back to the Backstage Theatre Longford this Friday .
After selling out recent shows in Dublin , the Derry native, known as 'The Godfather of Soul', is celebrating an amazing 60 years on the road this year and as the title of his biography suggests, is ‘STILL GOING STRONG!'. Rob Strong started out in the Showband era when he fronted the iconic Platterman Showband from Omagh frequently packing out the Longford
Carnival in the late 1960s, The Longford Slashers Carnival in the mid 1970s. He also often preformed in venues in Longford town such as the Sunset Club at the Longford Arms Hotel.
Rob Strong returns to Longford to perform this Friday. Tickets for this show are twenty euro plus a booking fee. To book call the Backstage Theatre Longford ( 043 3347888).
