Old friends gather at Longford Golf Club to reminisce about times past at old Moyne Latin School

The annual Golf Outing for past pupils of the old Latin School in Moyne took place on Friday, September 8 at County Longford Golf Club.

It is always a great occasion and an opportunity to meet up with old friends and reminisce about times past.

Sean Doyle was the oldest member to be playing on the day, at 91 years of age, and he was also the only one to score a birdie.

Longford SFC Final: Mark Hughes goal the decisive factor as Killoe pip Clonguish

Killoe had to call on all their vast experience to withstand a determined Clonguish comeback on the way to winning the Senior Football Championship title for the 14th time with Mark Hughes firing over the winning point from a free in stoppage time.
